
THE AI AVATAR LAB: BUILDING NEXT-GEN’S NARRATIVES
This 5-Day programme offers a comprehensive curriculum on generative AI in the creation of visual narratives and AI avatars. The programme aims to provide a balanced experience of hands-on workshops utilizing the latest generative AI tools in creative expression, alongside expert lectures and industry guest talks on AI fundamentals, ethics, and real-world applications.

Principal Recommendation Scheme- Fast-Track Enrolment

Programme Overview:
Arrival Day – Aug 9 (Sunday)
- Objective: Travel to Hong Kong and settle in. Students check into the dormitory with staff support to prepare for the week ahead.
Day 1 – Storytelling, AI Video & Avatar Workshops (Aug 10, Monday)
- Objective: Kick off with a campus welcome and tour, then dive into the future of storytelling with AI. Students form groups and begin hands-on AI video and AI avatar workshops in the afternoon.
Day 2 – AI History, Ethics & Guest Lecture (Aug 11, Tuesday)
- Objective: Build a foundational understanding of how AI works, its history, and the ethical questions it raises. A guest lecture from ZJTV (TBC) brings industry perspective, followed by continued workshop sessions.
Day 3 – AI Portfolios & Guest Lecture (Aug 12, Wednesday)
- Objective: Explore how AI tools can strengthen creative portfolios. A guest lecture by Angus Lee offers real-world insight, with workshops continuing toward final project completion.
Day 4 – Project Showcase & Award Ceremony (Aug 13, Thursday)
- Objective: Present final AI video and avatar projects in a showcase competition before peers and faculty, followed by an award ceremony and closing remarks to celebrate the week’s work.
